Enjoy the ultimate cigar and bourbon flight with Chateau Elan’s exclusive ‘Barrel & Ash’ experience. This pop-up masterclass, hosted by Louis Guinfolleau, will give each guest a guided tasting of four, rare bourbons/ryes and a selection of one premium cigar. Throughout this 90-minute experience, guests will also receive a cigar tutorial covering cigar basics, the history of cigars, growing regions, the cigar making process, and most importantly, cigar appreciation.
Guinfolleau, no stranger to hospitality, started his career at the young age of sixteen attending France’s famed La Rochelle School of Tourism and Hospitality. Nestled alongside the coastal city in southwestern France, Guinfolleau earned degrees in both hospitality management and bartending, and was designated ‘Best Apprentice of France’ in 2015. Guinfolleau worked as a private consultant and led the re-conception of several boutique bars throughout France, Spain, and Barcelona – most notably the Kilimanjaro Hotel in the Alps of France. Today, Guinfolleau leads the beverage programming throughout Chateau Elan Winery and Resort.

• Guests will receive a selection four, rare bourbons/ryes. Selection may include: Jefferson Ocean, Angel Envy Rye, Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel, or WhistlePig 18ys
• Guest will be able to choose between a select of cigars that may include: Montecristo Romeo y Julieta or Partagas.
• Complimentary matches/lighters and ash trays will be provided.
• Please check-in for this experience at Louis’ House of Bourbon and plan on arriving at least 15-minutes prior to start time.
